Four Interns Join the Power & Energy Systems Group this Summer
Four outstanding high school students will intern with the Power and Energy Systems (P&ES) group for six weeks this summer. They will work with our graduate researchers assisting in literature reviews, set-up and execution of experiments, and modeling and simulation of electrical components and systems. Two of the students come to USC from the Governor’s School for Science and Math under the Summer Program for Research Interns. Another is a top-ranked student from Irmo High School and another, who also worked with the P&ES group for a week in March 2010, comes from Heathwood Hall. We welcome these students into our group starting on June 7.
