September 20-21, 2005 Marriott, Columbia SC Columbia area weather forecast
The purpose of this meeting is to bring together users, developers, and sponsors of the VTB to further the purposes of creating and applying this multidisciplinary virtual prototyping environment, primarily in the areas of power sources and systems, thermal systems, power electronics, and controls. New developments in incremental virtual prototyping will be described, including hardware in the simulation loop, methods for rapid prototyping and insertion of controls into complex systems, methods for accomodating uncertainty in system specifications and simulations, and network and bus-level distributed and parallel simulation. Applications of the environment will also be described, including design and evaluation of new ship power systems, and simulation of complex interdisciplinary systems such as fuel cell power sources. Finally, hear from IDV Inc about the impending release of VTBpro.
